Did you perform the Radio/Audio System Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Radio/Audio System

1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
2. Turn ON the radio.
3. Adjust the FADE and BALANCE to the inoperative speaker.
4. Measure the A/C voltage between the inoperative speaker connector terminal A and terminal B (speaker connected).

Is A/C voltage measured?

Go to Step  3

Go to Step  4

Replace the speaker. Refer to one of the flowing:

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Radio/Audio System

Test the speaker circuits for an open or a short to ground.

Was an open or short found?

Go to Step  5

Go to Step  6

Repair the open or the short to ground in the speaker circuit. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Replace the radio. Refer to one of the flowing:
