Was the Radio/Audio System Diagnostic System Check preformed?

  1. Disconnect the radio connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Measure the voltage between the radio connector terminal F1 and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Measure the voltage between the radio connector terminal F1 and terminal E16.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 5

Repair an open or a short to ground in CKT 40 (ORN/BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Measure the voltage between the radio connector terminal F1 and terminal F5.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 8

Repair the open in CKT 1051 (BLK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the radio. Refer to one of the flowing:
