This master cylinder is a composite design of a plastic reservoir and aluminum body. Using a diagonally split system of one front and one diagonally opposite front and rear brake served by a primary piston. The opposite front and rear brakes are served by the secondary piston. It incorporates the functions of a standard dual master cylinder as well as a fluid level sensor switch and front reservoir access for use with Traction Control.

Important: 

   • Replace all components included in repair kits used to service this master cylinder.
   • Lubricate rubber parts with clean brake fluid to ease assembly.
   • Do not use lubricated shop air on brake parts as damage too rubber components may result.
   • It may be necessary to bleed all or part of the brake system if any hydraulic component is removed or disconnected.
   • The torque values specified are for dry unlubricated fasteners.
   • Perform service operations on a clean bench free from all mineral oil materials
