1. Remove the accelerator controls cable (1) from the accelerator controls pedal (2).



2. Remove pedal clip retainer (3).
3. Remove the washer (2).
4. Remove the bushings (1).

Important: The mounting surface between the support and the dash panel must be free of insulation. The carpet and the padding in the pedal area must be positioned to lay flat and be free of wrinkles and bunches.

1. Install the pedal clip retainer (3).
2. Install the washer (2).
3. Install the bushings (1).




Important: Check for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating the accelerator controls pedal. Also check for poor carpet fit under the accelerator controls pedal. The throttle should operate freely without bind between a full closed and a wide open throttle.

4. Install the accelerator controls cable (1) from the accelerator controls pedal (2).
5. Check for a complete throttle opening and closing position.
