Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 154952 Size: SH
  1. Remove the cruise control cable (2) from the accelerator controls bracket.
  2. Remove the accelerator controls cable (3) from the accelerator controls bracket.

    3. Object Number: 18918 Size: SH
  3. Remove the accelerator controls cable bracket bolts.
  4. Remove the accelerator control cable bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 18918 Size: SH
  1. Install the accelerator controls cable bracket.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the accelerator controls cable bracket bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the accelerator controls cable (3) to the bracket.
  4. Install the cruise control (2) to the bracket.
