Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Circuit-Range/Performance

B

    • DTC P0711 is stored in PCM history
    • If any engine coolant temperature sensor codes are set, then the transmission defaults to a temperature of 132°C (269°F)
    • If the engine coolant temperature is greater than 115°C (239°F), then the transmission will default to a temperature of 132°C (269°F). This will enable Transmission Hot Mode. The transmission remains in Hot Mode until the engine coolant temperature drops below 110°C (230°F). If the engine run time is less than 3 min, then the transmission defaults to the intake air temperature at ignition ON.
    • If the engine coolant temperature is between 45°-115°C (113°-239°F), then the transmission default temperature equals ECT - 10°C when the intake air temperature is less than 27°C (81°F) at ignition ON. If the intake air temperature is greater than 27°C (81°F) at ignition ON, then the transmission default temperature equals ECT + 10°C.
    •  If the engine run time is greater than 3 minutes and the engine coolant temperature is less than 45°C (113°F), then the transmission default temperature is 12°C (54°F)

P0712

Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Circuit-Low Input

D

    • DTC P0712 is stored in PCM history
    • If any engine coolant temperature sensor codes are set, then the transmission defaults to a temperature of 132°C (269°F)

D

    • DTC P0713 is stored in PCM history
    • If any engine coolant temperature sensor codes are set, then the transmission defaults to a temperature of 132°C (269°F)
