This bulletin is being issued to inform dealer technicians and parts managers that the headlamp bulb and headlamp ballast for the 2006-2008 Cadillac DTS are now available as separate components.
A housing assembly will soon be available without the bulb and ballast. When it becomes available, this bulletin will be updated to reflect that information.
If diagnosis leads to an inoperative bulb or ballast, replace ONLY that part.
These parts were formerly available only as part of the headlamp assembly.
Important: DO NOT replace the housing assembly unless absolutely necessary.
