The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may report their 2007 Cadillac DTS equipped with a US8 or US9 Radio volume is too loud on an OnStar blue button press. The volume level can be adjusted while in a call, but returns to the initial setting after the call ends. Engineering has identified an issue with early production radio software.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Reflash the radio with software currently available on TIS2WEB.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
