WATER LEAKS/ WET CARPET (MAY BE CLOGGED A/C DRAIN)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1988 CIMARRONS

Some 1988 Cimarrons may experience a condition of wet carpeting, usually on the passenger side. This may be caused by a restricted evaporator drain tube allowing condensate to collect and intrude into the passenger compartment. To repair this condition, cut off the bottom of the drain tube as shown in Figure 1.

For warranty purposes use Labor Operation T4634 at .2 hour.
