- Install
J 25022
and
J 24773-A
onto the turbine shaft.
- Attach
J 8001
rod to the converter housing using one of the bolt holes.
- Mount Dial Indicator
J 8001
on the rod and index it to the turbine shaft.
- Apply upward pressure by lifting on
J 25022
until resistance is met and set the dial indicator to 0.
Important: If the end play is not correct, repeat the adapter case selective washer
procedure.
- Lift the turbine shaft further upwards with
J 25022
. The end play should measure 0.1 to 0.8 mm (0.004
to 0.03 in).
- Remove the tools.
