Tools Required
    • J 23327 Clutch Spring Compressor
    • J 23327-90 Fourth Clutch Spring Compressor Adapter

    Object Number: 174885 Size: SH
  1. Compress the fourth clutch retainer and spring assembly (531) using J 23327 and J 23327-90 .
  2. Remove the fourth clutch spring retaining ring (530).
  3. Remove the tools.

    4. Object Number: 174888 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fourth clutch retainer and spring assembly (531).
  5. Remove the fourth clutch piston (532).
  6. Remove the fourth clutch piston inner seal (533) and outer seal (534).

    7. Object Number: 174889 Size: SH
  7. Remove the selective thrust washer (15) from the center support.

    8. Object Number: 174891 Size: SH
  8. Compress the reverse clutch piston return springs (611) using J 23327 .
  9. Remove the reverse clutch piston return spring seat retainer ring (613). Do not let the spring seat catch in the ring groove.
  10. Remove the tools.

    11. Object Number: 174893 Size: SH
  11. Remove the spring seat (612).
  12. Remove the piston return springs (611).
  13. Remove the reverse clutch piston (610).
  14. Remove the reverse clutch piston inner (608) and outer (609) seals.
