Tools Required
    •  J 38428 Servo Piston Ring Installer
    •  J 23075 Third Clutch/Servo Piston Spring Compressor
    •  J 36850 Assembly Lubricant

    Object Number: 175302 Size: SH
  1. Install the servo apply rod (102) into the servo piston assembly. Use J 36850 to hold the servo apply rod (102) in place. The round end goes into the case. Make sure the apply rod engages with the band.
  2. Install the servo piston return spring (103).

    3. Object Number: 175304 Size: SH
  3. Install J 38428 over the servo piston assembly (106).
  4. Install the servo piston assembly (106) into the transmission case.
  5. Install J 23075 . The tool offset faces toward the rear of the case.
  6. Compress the servo piston return spring.
  7. Install the servo piston retainer ring.
  8. Remove tools.
