Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 731086  Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the headlamp bezel. Refer to Headlamp Bezel Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  3. Remove the front license plate bracket and/or cover. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the main electrical connector located on the bottom left front corner of the fender.
  5. Remove the fascia center lower screws.
  6. Remove the front fender lower screws.
  7. Remove the fascia to fender bolt.
  8. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor (1) from the left front lower corner of the grille.

  10. Perform the following steps to remove the front fascia:
  11. 9.1. Put down a protective cover to prevent damage to the front fascia.
    9.2. Remove both corners of the front fascia from the fenders and from the retainers with an assistant.
    9.3. Remove the front fascia from the center of the front impact bar.
    9.4. Remove the fog and cornering lamps. Refer to Fog and Cornering Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
    9.5. Remove the electrical harness from the front fascia.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 776930  Size: SH
  1. Install the electrical harness to the front fascia.
  2. Install the fog and cornering lamps. Refer to Fog and Cornering Lamp Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  3. Position both corners of the front fascia to the front fenders and to the retainers with an assistant.

  4. Object Number: 731086  Size: SH
  5. Install the ambient air temperature sensor (1) to the left front lower corner of the grille.
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the fascia to fender screws.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the front fascia to fender screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  9. Install the front fascia lower fender screws.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the front fascia lower fender screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  11. Install the front fascia center lower screws.
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the front fascia center lower screws to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  13. Install the front license plate bracket and/or cover. Refer to Front License Plate Bracket Replacement .
  14. Install the headlamp bezel. Refer to Headlamp Bezel Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  15. Lower the vehicle.
