Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 143164 Size: SH
  1. Remove the L/H sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the front floor air outlet from the HVAC module.

    3. The LH air temperature sensor is located in the HVAC module just above where the floor air outlets connect to the module.

  3. Using a flat bladed tool, disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the air temperature sensor.

    4. Object Number: 156093 Size: SH
  4. Turn the air temperature sensor 180 degrees.

    5. Carefully remove the air temperature sensor from the HVAC module.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 156093 Size: SH
  1. Carefully insert the air temperature sensor into the HVAC module.

    2. Object Number: 156090 Size: SH
  2. Turn the air temperature sensor 180 degrees.
  3. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the air temperature sensor.
  4. Install the front floor air outlet.

  5. Install the L/H sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
