Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 168490  Size: MH
  1. Remove the lower front seat belt bolt.

  2. Object Number: 349276  Size: SH
  3. Remove the cover located in the center pillar upper trim finish panel to expose screw.
  4. Remove pillar upper trim finish panel screw.
  5. Remove the lower center pillar finish panel by pulling rearward.
  6. Remove the two screw located on the lower edge of the center pillar upper trim finish panel.
  7. Remove the center pillar upper trim finish panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 349276  Size: SH
  1. Install the center pillar upper trim finish panel.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the two screws located on the lower edge of the center pillar upper trim finish panel.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the lower center pillar finish panel by align retainers into holes and snap finish panel into place.
  6. Install the center pillar upper trim finish panel screw.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the screw cover located in the center pillar upper trim finish panel.

  9. Object Number: 168490  Size: MH
  10. Install the lower front seat belt and bolt to the center pillar.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the lower front seat belt bolt to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).
