Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 168396 Size: SH
  1. Remove the sunroof actuator. Refer to Sunroof Actuator Replacement .
  2. Remove the water gutter. Refer to Water Gutter Replacement .
  3. Remove the screw from the sunroof actuator cable stop.
  4. Remove the sunroof actuator cable stop from the sunroof actuator.

  5. Remove the slide and/or the guide from the sunroof actuator.

    6. Object Number: 168384 Size: SH
  6. Remove the sunroof guide.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 168384 Size: SH
  1. Install the sunroof guide.

    2. Object Number: 168385 Size: SH
  2. Install the slide and/or guide to the sunroof actuator.

    3. Object Number: 168396 Size: SH
  3. Connect the sunroof actuator cable stop to the sunroof actuator.

    4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the sunroof actuator cable stop screw.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the sunroof cable stop actuator screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the water gutter. Refer to Water Gutter Replacement .
  6. Install the sunroof actuator. Refer to Sunroof Actuator Replacement .
