  1. Open the front side door.
  2. Grasp the door upper sealing strip at the upper outer corner and pull downward to expose the window stop bumper.

  3. Object Number: 243549  Size: SH
  4. Loosen the stop bumper screw.
  5. Roll the window all the way up.
  6. Inspect that the window is fully seated in the weatherstrip.
  7. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Tighten the stop bumper screw.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the window stop bumper screw to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  10. Reposition upper sealing strip to its original position.
  11. Close the front door.
