Removal Procedure

  1. Move the driver and passenger front seats to the full forward position.

  2. Object Number: 245704  Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear vent housing upper screws from the center console if required.

  4. Object Number: 245707  Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear vent housing side screws from the center console.

  6. Object Number: 245709  Size: SH
  7. Remove the electrical harness from the lighter and heated seat switches.
  8. Remove the rear vent housing from the center console.

  9. Object Number: 245727  Size: SH
  10. Remove the rear heated seat switch panel from the rear vent housing if required.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 245727  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear heated seat switch panel to the rear vent housing if required.

  2. Object Number: 245709  Size: SH
  3. Install the electrical harness to the lighter and heated seat switches.

  4. Object Number: 245707  Size: SH
  5. Install the rear vent housing to the center console.
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the rear vent housing side screws to the center console.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the rear vent housing console side screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  9. Install the rear vent housing upper screws to the center console if required.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the rear vent housing upper screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  11. Return the driver and passenger front seats to the original position
