Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 159409  Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the rubber protective cover from the fog and cornering lamp.
  3. Caution: Halogen bulbs contain gas under pressure. Handling a bulb improperly could cause it to shatter into flying glass fragments. To help avoid personal injury:

       • Turn off the lamp switch and allow the bulb to cool before changing the bulb.
       • Leave the lamp switch OFF until the bulb change is complete.
       • Always wear eye protection when changing a halogen bulb.
       • Handle the bulb only by its base. Avoid touching the glass.
       • Keep dirt and moisture off the bulb.
       • Properly dispose of the used bulb.
       • Keep halogen bulbs out of the reach of children.

  4. Separate the fog lamp bulb/socket fastening tangs.
  5. Remove the fog lamp bulb/socket from the fog lamp.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamp bulb/socket.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the fog lamp bulb/socket.
  2. Install the fog lamp bulb/socket to the fog lamp.
  3. Engage the retaining tangs to secure the fog lamp bulb/socket to the fog lamp.

  4. Object Number: 159409  Size: SH
  5. Install the rubber protective cover to the fog and cornering lamp.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
