Did you perform the Lighting System Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Step  2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Lighting Systems

1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
2. Verify if the front side marker lamps are inoperative.

Are the front side marker lamps operating properly?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step  3

1. Operate the turn signal switch in order to turn on the left and the right front turn signals.
2. Verify that the left and the right front turn signals operate.

Are the left and the right front turn signals operating properly?

Go to Step  4

Go to Turn Signal Lamps and/or Indicators Inoperative

Determine if one or both front side marker lamps are inoperative.

Is only one front side marker lamp inoperative?

Go to Step  5

Go to Step  7

Test for an open or for a high resistance in the supply voltage circuit of the inoperative side marker lamp. Refer to Circuit Testing and to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step  9

Go to Step  6

Test for an open or for a high resistance in the ground circuit of the inoperative side marker lamp. Refer to Circuit Testing and to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step  9

Go to Step  8

Repair an open or a high resistance in the supply voltage circuit of the side marker lamps. Refer to Circuit Testing and to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step  9

Replace the inoperative front side marker lamp. Refer to Side Marker Lamp Replacement .

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step  9

1. Connect all of the connectors and components that were previously disconnected.
2. Verify that the left and the right front side marker lamps turn ON.

Do the left and the right front side marker lamps turn ON?

System OK
