Removal Procedure
  1. Open the ashtray.

    2. Object Number: 159441 Size: SH
  2. Push the gray tab to the right to release the tray.
  3. Remove the tray.

    4. Object Number: 786481 Size: SH
  4. Remove the screw located behind the top of the ashtray housing.
  5. Remove the ashtray housing from the IP accessory trim plate.

    6. Object Number: 786488 Size: SH
  6. Remove the bulb socket (2) from the socket housing (1).
  7. Remove the bulb (3) from the bulb socket (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 786488 Size: SH
  1. Install the bulb (3) into the bulb socket (2).
  2. Install the bulb socket (2) into socket housing (1).

    3. Object Number: 786481 Size: SH
  3. Install the ashtray housing into the IP accessory trim plate.

    4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the ashtray housing screw.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Snap in the tray.
  6. Close the ashtray.
