Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

  2. Object Number: 153306  Size: MH
  3. Remove the right air temperature actuator cover (1).
  4. Disconnect the right air temperature actuator electrical connector (3).
  5. Remove the right temperature actuator screws.
  6. Disconnect the right air temperature actuator from the linkage (2).
  7. Remove the right air temperature actuator.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 153306  Size: MH
  1. Install the right air temperature actuator.
  2. Connect the right air temperature actuator to the linkage (2).
  3. Important: The air temperature actuator linkage may need to be rotated to access the screw holes for the following step.

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the right air temperature actuator screws.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  6. Connect the right air temperature actuator electrical connector (3).
  7. Install the right air temperature actuator cover (1).
  8. Install the console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  9. Recalibrate the actuator. Refer to Re-Calibrating Actuators After Power Loss .
