J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
2. Remove the sealing strip from the air inlet grille.
3. Remove the air inlet grille.
4. Open the access door near the pollen filter.



5. Disconnect the outlet heater hose quick connect from the heater core pipe.
6. Remove the intake plenum. Refer to Intake Plenum Replacement in Engine Mechanical.
7. Remove the heater hose clamp from the heater water valve using J 38185 .
8. Remove the outlet heater hose from the heater water valve.

1. Install the outlet heater hose to the heater water valve.
2. Install the heater hose clamp to the heater water valve using J 38185 .
3. Install the intake plenum. Refer to Intake Plenum Replacement in Engine Mechanical.



4. Connect the outlet heater hose quick connect to the heater core pipe.
5. Close the access door near the pollen filter and lower the air inlet screen on the passenger side.
6. Install the air inlet grille.
7. Install the sealing strip to the air inlet grille.
8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
