Removal Procedure
- Remove the passenger side I/P sound insulator panel.
- Remove the passenger side floor air outlet retainer (2).
- Remove the passenger side floor air outlet. Disconnect from air distributor and rotate the outlet side rearward.
- Remove the transmission control module nuts (2).
- Remove the transmission control module (1).
• | Pull module away from the studs. |
• | Slide the module downward away from the upper clip. |
Installation Procedure
- Install the transmission control module (1).
• | Slide the module upward into the upper clip. |
• | Push the module onto the studs. |
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the transmission control module nuts (2).
Tighten
Tighten the transmission control module nuts (2) until fully seated.
- Install the passenger side floor air outlet. Rotate the outlet side forward into position and connect to the air distributor.
- Install the passenger side floor air outlet retainer (2).
- Install the passenger side I/P sound insulator panel.
Important: It is recommended that transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) information be reset.
Resetting the TAP values using a scan tool will erase all learned values in all cells. As a result, The ECM, PCM or TCM will
need to relearn TAP values. Transmission performance may be affected as new TAP values are learned.
