Removal Procedure

  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

  2. Object Number: 142126  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the auxiliary heater pump electrical connector.
  4. Remove the auxiliary heater pump hoses.
  5. Remove the auxiliary heater pump bracket nuts (4).
  6. Remove the auxiliary heater pump (3) from the wheelhouse panel.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the auxiliary heater pump (3) to the wheelhouse panel.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the auxiliary heater pump bracket nuts (4).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the auxiliary heater pump bracket nuts (4) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the auxiliary heater pump hoses.
  6. Connect the auxiliary heater pump electrical connector.
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
