There are various methods and types of equipment available to flush the cooling system. If using special equipment, follow the manufacturer's instructions for hook up and operation.

Removal of the thermostat is recommended before flushing the system.

After completion of the cooling system flush procedures, fill the cooling system, refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling and check for leaks.
