Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the back cushion cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 246334  Size: SH
  4. Remove the screws from the lumbar adjuster cable.

  5. Object Number: 246336  Size: SH
  6. Remove 6 springs and the lumbar adjuster plate from the seat back frame.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 246336  Size: SH
  1. Install the lumbar adjuster plate to the seat back frame. secure the frame with 6 springs.

  2. Object Number: 246334  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screws to the lumbar adjuster plate cable.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the back cushion cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .
  6. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
