Front Seats

The front heated seats allow the driver and the front passenger to control either seat cushion heating element through separate seat heater switches. The switches allow the driver or the passenger to select from five heating levels. When either switch is moved to the first position, the seat heats at the lowest level. As the switch position increases, the heat level of the seat cushions also increases. A sensor in the seat cushion heater monitors and regulates the temperature of the cushion according to the selected heat level.

When either of the seat heater switches is turned on, an LED inside of the switch illuminates to verify that the seat cushion heater is on.

Rear Seats

The rear heated seats allow the rear passengers to control either the left rear seat or the right rear seat through independently controlled seat heater switches. The switches allow only one heat level for the seat cushion heater element and the seat back cushion heater element.

The heated seat thermal switch maintains the heated seat element temperature between 40°C (104°F) and 50°C (122°F). It should be stressed that the thermal switch regulates the temperature of the seat heating element and not the actual seat cushion temperature. Each seat contains two heating mats and two built-in thermal switches.

When either of the seat heater switches is turned on, an indicator inside of the switch illuminates to verify that the seat cushion heater is on.
