  1. Turn the ignition to the RUN position.
  2. Turn both rear seat heater switches off.

Do the rear heated seats remain off?

Do the rear seat heaters remain on with the ignition in the OFF position?

Test and repair for a short to voltage in the rear seat cushion heater relay control circuit. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the rear seat heater switch. Refer to Rear Seat Heater Switch Replacement .

Test and repair for a short to voltage in the rear seat cushion heater control circuit . Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
