  1. Disconnect the recliner adjuster motor connector.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the adjuster motor supply circuit terminals.
  3. Press the seat recliner adjustment switch forward and back.

Does the test lamp illuminate when the switch is pressed in both directions?

Inspect and repair any damage to the seat adjuster switch circuits and connector terminals. Refer to Wiring Repairs and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.
