Removal Procedure
  1. Position the coolant line that runs across the top of the air cleaner housing out of the way.

    2. Object Number: 60904 Size: SH
  2. Loosen the hose clamp that is holding the air duct to the air cleaner housing.
  3. Loosen the screws around the perimeter of the air cleaner housing lid.
  4. Lift the air cleaner lid. Then disengage the lid (1) from the air duct.
  5. Remove the air filter element (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 60904 Size: SH
  1. Clean out all traces of dirt and other contaminants from the air cleaner base and lid.
  2. Place the air filter element (2) into the air cleaner lid (1).
  3. Install the air cleaner lid and the filter element back into place as a unit, engaging the air duct as the assembly is moved into position.
  4. Tighten the perimeter screws on the air cleaner housing lid.
  5. Ensure that the air duct is properly fitted to the air cleaner lid.
  6. Tighten the clamp at the air duct.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp on the air duct to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  7. Reposition the coolant line in its retainers on the top of the air cleaner housing lid.
