- Connect the RH inflatable restraint front side impact module 2-way
connector (if equipped with side air bags).
- Connect
the connector position assurance (CPA) to the RH inflatable restraint front
side impact module 2-way connector (if equipped with side air bags).
- Connect the passenger seat belt pretensioner 2-way
connector to inline connector C316.
- Install the RH
outer seat track cover. Refer to
Carpet Retainer Replacement
in Interior Trim.
- Connect
the LH inflatable restraint front side impact module 2-way connector (if equipped
with side air bags).
- Connect the connector position
assurance (CPA) to the LH inflatable restraint front side impact module 2-way
connector (if equipped with side air bags).
- Connect the driver seat belt pretensioner 2-way connector to inline connector
C315.
- Install the LH outer seat track cover. Refer
to
Carpet Retainer Replacement
in Interior
Trim.
- Connect the inflatable restraint IP module
2-way connector (1).
- Connect the connector position
assurance (CPA) to the inflatable restraint IP module 2-way connector.
- Install the inflatable restraint IP module cover. Refer
to
SIR Module Cover Replacement
.
- Connect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil wiring
harness connector from the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil.
- Install the upper and lower steering column covers.
- Staying well away from the air bags and the pretensioners,
turn ON the ignition.
| 14.1. | The AIR BAG warning lamp will flash
seven times. |
| 14.2. | The AIR BAG warning lamp will then turn
OFF. |
- Perform
Diagnostic System Check - SIR
if the AIR BAG warning lamp does not operate as described.
