Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 443018  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear window sunshade. Refer to Rear Sunshade Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear window sunshade transmission. Refer to Sunshade Transmission Replacement - Rear .
  3. Rotate the sunshade to the up position.
  4. Remove the screws from the end caps.
  5. Remove the end caps.
  6. Important: Mark the position of the sunshade arms and the sunshade screen for reinstallation of the sunshade slat.

  7. Remove the sunshade slat by sliding the slat from the sunshade arms and the screen.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 443018  Size: SH
  1. Install the sunshade slat by sliding the slat onto the sunshade arms and the screen.
  2. Install the end caps.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the end caps screws.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the end cap screws until fully seated but not stripped.

  6. Rotate the sunshade to the down position.
  7. Install the rear window sunshade transmission. Refer to Sunshade Transmission Replacement - Rear .
  8. Install the rear window sunshade. Refer to Rear Sunshade Replacement .
