- Move the rocker switch to the LH side to choose the LH outside
rear view mirror.
- Disconnect the LH outside rear view mirror connector.
- Activate the outside remote control rear view mirror switch to
the left and then to the right.
- Use the DMM to measure the voltage between terminals 1 and 3 of
the LH outside rear view mirror connector.
Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

- Locate an open or a high resistance in circuits B2 and/or FA4.
- Repair the open or the high resistance in circuits B2 and/or FA4.
- Replace the outside remote control rear view mirror switch if
these circuits are OK. Refer to
Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
Is the repair or replacement complete?

- Activate the outside remote control rear view mirror switch upward
and downward.
- Use the DMM to measure the voltage between terminals 2 and 3 of
the LH outside rear view mirror connector.
Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

- Locate an open or a high resistance in circuits U1 and/or FA4.
- Repair the open or the high resistance in circuits U1 and/or FA4.
- Replace the outside remote control rear view mirror switch if
