Was the Power Door Locks System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the door lock relay K135 connector.
  2. Disconnect the LH front side door lock actuator connector.
  3. Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 2 of the door lock relay K135 connector and terminal 2 of the LH front side door lock actuator connector.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit FA809.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit FA809.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 12 of the door lock relay K135 connector and terminal 6 of the LH front side door lock actuator connector.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 6

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuits FB9 and/or FB803.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuits FB9 and/or FB803.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Replace the LH front side door lock actuator. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement in Doors.

Is the replacement complete?

  1. Connect all connectors and components that were disconnected.
  2. Verify that the LH front side door lock actuator operates properly.

Does the LH front side door lock actuator operate properly?

--
