Was the Power Door Locks System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the door lock relay K135 connector.
  2. Disconnect the LH rear side door lock actuator connector.
  3. Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 10 of the door lock relay K135 connector and terminal 2 of the LH rear side door lock actuator connector.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 4

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit FA804.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit FA804.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 12 of the door lock relay K135 connector and terminal 6 of the LH rear side door lock actuator connector.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 6

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit FB805.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit FB805.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the LH rear side door lock actuator. Refer to Rear Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement in Doors.

Is the replacement complete?

  1. Connect all connectors and components that were disconnected.
  2. Verify that the LH rear side door lock actuator operates properly.

Does the LH rear side door lock actuator operate properly?

--

  2. Disconnect the RH rear side door lock actuator connector.
  3. Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 10 of the door lock relay K135 connector and terminal 2 of the RH rear side door lock actuator connector.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuits FA803 and/or FA804.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuits FA803 and/or FA804.

Is the repair complete?

Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal 12 of the door lock relay K135 connector and terminal 6 of the RH rear side door lock actuator connector.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuits FB804 and/or FB805.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuits FB804 and/or FB805.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Connect all connectors and components that were disconnected.
