Did you perform the Content Theft Deterrent System Check?

Go to Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) System Check

1. Disconnect the BCM connector C2.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Is the security indicator lamp ON?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Locate a short to ground in circuit XP840.
2. Repair the short to ground in circuit XP840.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) System Check

--

1. Inspect all the power and ground circuits to the BCM.
2. If these circuits are OK, replace the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Is the replacement complete?
