Did you perform the Fog Lamps System Check?

  1. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  2. Turn the fog lamps ON.
  3. Use the DMM to measure the voltage between terminal 5 of the instrument cluster connector and a known good ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 4

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit FP40.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit FP40.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Inspect the fog lamp indicator bulb.
  2. If the fog lamp indicator bulb is OK, replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Indicator Lamp Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Is the replacement complete?

  1. Connect all connectors and components that were disconnected.
  2. Verify that the fog lamp indicator operates properly.
