Did you perform the Exterior Lights System Check?

  1. Turn the headlamp switch to the PARK position.
  2. Determine which park lamp is inoperative.

Is the LH park lamp inoperative?

--

Go to Step 8

  1. Disconnect the RH park lamp.
  2. Use the DMM to measure the voltage between terminal B of the RH park lamp connector and a known good ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit RA3.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit RA3.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Step 13

Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal A of the RH park lamp connector and a known good ground.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 7

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit F16.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit F16.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the RH park/turn signal lamp. Refer Park/Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement in to Lighting Systems.

Is the replacement complete?

--

Go to Step 13

  1. Disconnect the LH park lamp.
  2. Use the DMM to measure the voltage between terminal B of the LH park lamp connector and a known good ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified value?

B+

Go to Step 10

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit RF3.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit RF3.

Is the repair complete?

Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal A of the LH park lamp connector and a known good ground.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 12

  1. Locate an open or a high resistance in circuit F12.
  2. Repair the open or the high resistance in circuit F12.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the LH park/turn signal lamp. Refer to Park/Turn Signal Lamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.

Is the replacement complete?

  1. Connect all of the connectors and components that were disconnected.
  2. Verify that the LH and RH park lamps turn ON.

Do the LH and RH park lamps turn ON?
