Tilt Spring - Assemble - Off Vehicle. Cadillac Catera 1999

Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 1999 🢒 Catera 🢒 Steering 🢒 Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt 🢒 Tilt Spring - Assemble - Off Vehicle

Install the tilt spring (2) and the tilt spring retainer (1) between the steering column housing (4) and the steering column housing support (5).
Note: The spring must engage the locating tab (3) on the steering column housing support.
Insert a No. 2 Phillips head screwdriver into the square opening (1) in the tilt spring retainer and turn to lock.
To install the ignition switch assembly. Refer to Ignition Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
