For 1990-2009 cars only
  1. Clean the leak area with a suitable solvent.
  2. Allow the area to air dry.
  3. Caution: The epoxy adhesive may cause skin irritations and eye damage. Read and follow all of the information on the container label as provided by the manufacturer.

  4. Mix a sufficient amount of GM P/N 1052533 epoxy cement or equivalent following manufacturer recommendations.
  5. Use a heat gun to warm transmission case surface.
  6. Apply epoxy cement with clean, dry soldering acid brush.
  7. Allow epoxy cement to cure for three hours before starting engine.
  8. Repeat fluid leak diagnosis procedures to determine if leak is fixed.
