For 1990-2009 cars only
- Clean the leak area with a suitable solvent.
- Allow the area to air dry.
- Mix a sufficient amount of GM P/N 1052533 epoxy cement or equivalent following manufacturer recommendations.
- Use a heat gun to warm transmission case surface.
- Apply epoxy cement with clean, dry soldering acid brush.
- Allow epoxy cement to cure for three hours before starting engine.
- Repeat fluid leak diagnosis procedures to determine if leak is fixed.
