Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

    2. Object Number: 60886 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
  3. Loosen the hose clamp.

    4. Mark the location of the air pump in the bracket prior to removal.

  4. Disconnect the air hose from the AIR pump.
  5. Remove the fastening nuts.
  6. Remove the AIR pump (1) assembly from the vehicle.

Disassembly Procedure

    Object Number: 61638 Size: SH
  1. Remove the wiring harness plug from the assembly bracket (6).
  2. Loosen the hose clamps.
  3. Disconnect the air intake hose.
  4. Remove the fastening screws.
  5. Remove the AIR pump (2) from the Secondary AIR pump damper ring (4).

Assembly Procedure

    Object Number: 61638 Size: SH
  1. Align the secondary air pump (2) in the original position.
  2. Install the secondary air pump to the secondary air pump damper ring (4).
  3. Install/tighten the retaining screws.
  4. Connect the air intake hose.
  5. Tighten the hose clamps.
  6. Connect the wiring harness plug to the assembly bracket (6).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 60886 Size: SH
  1. Install the AIR pump (1) assembly to the vehicle.
  2. Install/tighten the fastening nuts.
  3. Connect the air hose to the AIR pump.
  4. Tighten the hose clamp.
  5. Reconnect the wiring harness plug.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
