Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement

    3. Object Number: 162634 Size: SH
  3. Use a long thin blade screwdriver to unhook the clip from the pin (1) to remove the rear bumper impact bar.

    4. Important: 

       • The rear bumper fasica support hooks over the impact bar in one piece.
       • Remove the rear bumper impact bar to prevent damage to the rear bumper fascia support.

  4. Remove the rear bumper fascia support.

Installation Procedure
  1. Hook the rear bumper fasica support (2) over the impact bar.

    2. Object Number: 162634 Size: SH
  2. Hood the clip to the pin (1) to install the rear bumper impact bar.
  3. Install the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement
  4. Lower the vehicle.
