For 1990-2009 cars only

The front engine crossmember mounts rigid to the body without rubber insulators.

The rubber mounts and bushings isolate the rear axle cradle from the vehicle body. An improper insulation mount and/or improper bushing installations may result in the following problems:

    • May result in popping noise.
    • May result in structure shake.
    • May result in road noise.
    • May result in squeaks.
    • May result in snapping noise.

Installation of the wrong part may cause the above problems or improper tightening of the insulator may cause the above problems.

Perform the body bolt torque check if a problem is diagnosed as an insulator problem. If the wrong insulator was used replace the insulator with the correct part and new installation bolts.
