Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Cover Replacement
  3. Remove seat cushion heater element by:

    4. Important: The rear seat cushion cover contains two heating elements a right and left, both heater elements are serviced the same way.


    Object Number: 246811 Size: SH
    3.1. Cut along seams on the inside of the seat cover, being careful not to cut through the front side of the seat cover.
    3.2. Cut the heater element eletrical wiring.
    3.3. Remove the heater element and wiring from the seat cover.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 246814 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear seat cushion heating element to the seat cover.
  2. Install seat cushion heater element eletrical wiring to the orignal position of the old wiring harness.
  3. Fold over ends of new heater element and tape to the seat cushion cover.
  4. Install the rear seat cushion cover. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Trim Cover Replacement
  5. Install the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement
