Reveal Molding Retainer Replacement Front
Removal Procedure
Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough
edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce
the chance of personal injury.
- Remove windshield
reveal molding. Refer to
Windshield Reveal Molding Replacement
- Use a plastic tool to assist in pushing away
from the window while working it out the pinchweld to remove the reveal molding
retainers from the following sides of the windshield:
• | From the upper side of the windshield. |
• | From the lower side of the windshield. |
• | From the left side of the windshield. |
• | From the right side of the windshield. |
Installation Procedure
- Install the reveal molding retainers to the following
sides of the windshield:
• | To the upper side of the windshield. |
• | To the lower side of the windshield. |
• | To the left side of the windshield. |
• | To the right side of the windshield. |
| Important: Remove the windshield if the windshield reveal molding retainers cannot
be properly installed due to the windshield fit or due to urethane interference.

- Install windshield reveal molding. Refer to

Reveal Molding Retainer Replacement Rear
Removal Procedure
Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough
edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce
the chance of personal injury.
- Remove rear
window reveal molding. Refer to
Rear Window Reveal Molding Replacement
- Use a plastic tool to assist in pushing away
from the rear window while working the reveal molding retainers (2) out of
the pinchweld to remove the reveal molding retainers (2) from the upper section
and from the lower section of the rear window. Refer to
Rear Window Replacement
Installation Procedure
- Install the reveal molding retainers (2) to the
upper section of the rear window.
- Install the reveal molding retainers to the lower section of the
rear window.
Important: If rear window reveal molding retainers can not be properly installed
due to the rear window fit or urethane interference remove the rear window.
