Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air inlet grilles. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  2. Remove the power brake booster vacuum hose. Refer to Vacuum Brake Booster Hose Replacement in Hydraulic Brakes.

    3. Object Number: 159508 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the windshield wiper motor.
  4. Remove the windshield wiper transmission screws.
  5. Remove the windshield wiper transmission with the motor.

    6. Object Number: 159509 Size: SH
  6. Remove the windshield wiper transmission upper link (1).
  7. Remove the windshield wiper motor bracket bolts (5) from the windshield wiper transmission (2).
  8. Remove the windshield wiper motor (4) from the windshield wiper transmission (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 159509 Size: SH
  1. Install the windshield wiper motor (4) to the windshield wiper transmission (2).
  2. Install the windshield wiper motor bracket bolts (5) to the windshield wiper transmission (2).
  3. Install the windshield wiper transmission upper link (1).

    4. Object Number: 159508 Size: SH

    Important: Insure to position the wiring harness at top of the wiper transmission before installing the wiper transmission and motor.

  4. Install the windshield wiper transmission with the motor.
  5. Install the windshield wiper transmission screws.
  6. Connect the wiring harness connector to the windshield wiper motor.
  7. Install the power brake booster vacuum hose. Refer to Vacuum Brake Booster Hose Replacement in Hydraulic Brakes.
  8. Install the air inlet grilles. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
