Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.

    2. Object Number: 159414 Size: SH
  2. Unscrew the self-locking tab from the appropriate radiator cover.
  3. Unclip the self-locking tab from the body.
  4. Remove front grill assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement in Exterior Trim.

    5. Object Number: 159420 Size: SH
  5. Remove the headlamp filler trim screw.

    6. Object Number: 159422 Size: SH
  6. Angle out the lower headlamp filler trim to release the locking tab.
  7. Remove the headlamp filler trim.

    8. Object Number: 159423 Size: SH
  8. Remove the front grille assembly mounting bracket screws.
  9. Remove the front grille assembly mounting bracket.

    10. Object Number: 159424 Size: SH
  10. Remove the electrical connection from the headlamp.
  11. Remove the turn signal bulb socket from the headlamp.

    12. Object Number: 159425 Size: SH
  12. Remove the three headlamp screws.

    13. Object Number: 159426 Size: SH
  13. Remove the headlamp.
  14. Transfer the high beam bulb.
  15. Transfer the low beam bulb.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 159426 Size: SH
  1. Install the headlamp.

    2. Object Number: 159425 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the three headlamp screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the three headlamp screws until fully seated. Ensure not to strip the three headlamp screws.

  3. Install the turn signal bulb socket to the headlamp.

  4. Install the electrical connection to the headlamp.

    5. Object Number: 159423 Size: SH
  5. Install the front grille assembly mounting bracket.
  6. Install the front grille assembly mounting bracket screws.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the front grille assembly mounting bracket screws until fully seated. Ensure no to strip the front grille assembly mounting bracket screws. Ensure not to strip the plastic inserts.

  7. Angle in the locking tab to install the headlamp filler trim.

    8. Object Number: 159420 Size: SH
  8. Install the headlamp filler trim screw.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the headlamp filler trim screw until fully seated. Ensure not to strip the headlamp filler trim screw. Ensure not to strip the plastic insert.

  9. Install the front grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement in Exterior Trim.

    10. Object Number: 159414 Size: SH
  10. Seat the tab to the body of the appropriate radiator cover.
  11. Secure the radiator cover by turning the self-locking tab.
  12. Close the hood.
