Rotate the tires at the intervals specified in General Information to maximize tire life. Investigate the cause whenever uneven tire wear is noticed.

This vehicle utilizes a tire with an asymmetric tread design that divides the treadface into zones. The larger more aggressive tread elements are placed toward the outside shoulder. The inboard shoulder utilizes more compliant elements to enable wet and to enable winter traction.

A modified X tire rotation pattern is permissible as shown, since the outer shoulder of the tire faces the outboard regardless of which side of the vehicle the tire is mounted on.

Check the wheel nut torque after rotation and set the tire pressure. Never use oil or grease on the wheel bolts. Refer to Wheel Removal or Wheel Installation
