Removal Procedure
  1. Open both of the doors.

    2. Object Number: 243374 Size: SH
  2. Unsnap the center pillar outer applique cover.
  3. Slide the applique down.

    4. Object Number: 243378 Size: SH
  4. Remove the center pillar outer applique retainer plate screws.
  5. Remove the center pillar outer appliqueweatherstrip.
  6. Remove the roof rail molding. Refer to Rear Window Garnish Molding Replacement in Exterior Trim.
  7. Remove the center pillar outer applique retainer plate.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 243378 Size: SH
  1. Install the roof rail molding. Refer to Rear Window Garnish Molding Replacement in Exterior Trim.
  2. Install the center pillar outer applique retainer plate.
  3. Install the center pillar outer applique weatherstrip.

    4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the center pillar outer applique plate screws.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten center pillar outer applique plate screws until fully seated and not stripped.

  5. Slide the center pillar outer applique upwards while snapping into place.
  6. Close both doors.
